Welcome to the portfolio for Nicholas Higgins, an independent Lighting Designer whoLIves in Tasmania, but freelances everywhere.

In addition to Lighting Design, I try to take all my own production photographs , as well as photographs for other shows. I would be pleased to discuss the photographic needs of your show, whether they be promotional, documentary or production photographs.

The use of projected material is becoming more and more prevalent in todays shows. With experience in creating, shooting, editing and projecting these images, I would be pleased to assist you with your show's needs.

Please note that this site is primarily image based. I have kept the non-essential elements to a minimum to improve the speed of navigating this site, but most of the information is image based and therefore may be slow to load over dial-up connections. I have thumbnailed as much as possible which will allow you to select which images to look at closely.

I have included as much information as possible from each production. Where possible, I have included links to the individuals and organisations involved in creating the production. After all, it's not a one man show!
Some productions have little or no information about them and I am in the process of acquiring the details. As I receive the information, I shall update the site as required.
